I cannot believe it has been so long since I have updated my blog! Well let's see what has happened in the past couple of weeks. No more jump roping, I'm sad, that was so easy, the easiest exercise I've ever done. However I am finally walking normal again. It really hurt my knees something fierce. I did get out my exercise mat and I will try that, I probably need new shoes, I have had these walking shoes for some time. I am excited that the weather is getting warmer, soon, and the time will change on the 14th of this month. I'm loving that. That means I can start walking again, in the neighborhood, I really enjoy doing that. Okay I can't think of anything that has happened that is significant, all we have been doing is school, work, school, work, for all of us in this house! My Uncle did pass away on 25 February, he lived a good long life, he was 82. This was my Dad's younger brother, my Dad is a couple years older than him and thankfully my Dad is in good health. Thank you Lord! We hope to have him around for quite a few more years.
I hope to plant some tomato plants soon, this year I want to have some real home grown tomato's. I tried the topsy turvey last year that didn't go so well. This year I will try a large planter.

Oh yes...walking this summer, and taking some of this fat off! I also am going to do a small garden of some type, maybe some green onions, some zucchini (sp?)and a tomato or two. But first I have to rake all these leaves yuck.
ReplyDeleteI had great luck two years ago with a cherry tomato plant in a large planter. I was going to move it around the yard to get more sun, but it eventually got so big that we had to stake it down because it overbalanced and bent the tomato cage it was in. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteI have been talking about a garden for 2 years now. I had a beautiful one at my old house. I built raised beds and brought it soil. I grew more vegetable than we could eat. The funny thing is that I don't like tomatoes, but can grow them like crazy.
